For the past week, I have been enjoying a trip back to my favorite childhood event – Coloring. I used to sit on the porch, floor, or at the kitchen table with several coloring books and a 64 box of Crayola crayons. You had to drag me away from them.
Being an only child growing up, there was quite a bit of alone time to fill. Aside from my Atari 2600, and comic books, coloring was the best way to past the time. Now in 2015, coloring is back and adults everywhere are picking up new books, designed just for adults; with colored pencils, markers and crayons and skipping down memory lane.
Relaxing and stimulating at the same time, there is nothing like some smooth jazz or R&B with a coloring book to ease the tensions of a busy day. So tonite, why not grab a book, put the kids to bed and express yourself with some color.
